Aomoji Kei Stuff

Harajuku has a variety of fashions, they all are fabulous. However, there are times when you want to use everything and you get to decide which one. For these situations, there is Amoji Kei. It's a style that I like to wear, just because there are no rules. Goodbye boring labels. You can wear whatever you want, whenever you want, that's all. ❤

In Mexico, every day is more opened for foreign fashions shops, but yet it's difficult to find things as Harajuku Fashion, so we need to get things on our own. If there is something I really enjoy, is to make creations with my own designs. I want to show you some of the things that I've done, of course not all, but some of my favorites.

My boyfriend gave me this hat 4 years ago and I didn't know how to use it. So one day I decided to put some ribbons of different colors and combine with pink lenses. I also liked the idea of a Fairy Kei style necklace with a pacifier. Also did a mask and painted by hand with the word 原宿 (Harajuku).

I bought a round glasses and I thought it would be fun to create a rabbit hat to combine. I took fabric that had bought long ago, and I started designing. The result was this. Combining it with a pink or coffee wig, makes it look cooler a lot.

This is one of my favorites. I designed a rabbit headband, a tippet and a heart-shaped bag, all in the same style. It took some work, expecially the bag was difficult, but it was worth a lot. I can use it with different styles and all looks great ❤

This pair of hats aren't have done by me, I bought them online, but are so cute that they merit to be here, lol. I love how they look together and with these wigs are so much better.

I posted this accessory yesterday, and you can see the tutorial HERE. From the first time I saw it in etsy I fell in love, but really prefer to do things by myself, now I have so many, and I plan to give it as a gift to my friends
◝(●˙꒳˙●)☆

Espero que les haya gustado, esperen la segunda parte ☆:*・゚(●^∀^●):*・゚☆

Finally, this is one of the corners of my room (I have my own home but I also have an exclusive room for my kawaii stuff ❤). I can say my things are divided into three parts: Brand, things I bought on the internet and things I did handmade. This photo is from a year ago, I'll take a new one with the things that I have now, because my collection has grown considerably, especially Brand. I hope you liked it, wait for the second part

Bat Bow Tutorial

¡Hola!

  • Tactopiel / Fieltro
  • Broches
  • Pistola de silicón

Hello! It's time for a new tutorial, it's super easy and I'm sure you'll like it. I'll teach you how to build your own bat wings bow in less than 5 minutes.

What you'll need is:
  • Sheet of paper (for pattern)
  • Leather / Felt
  • Brooches
  • Silicone Gun

First draw the pattern on the sheet of paper

Then you must cut the patterns, you'll get something like this:

Now I suggest you to cut your material into two pieces of 12x5cm and 5x1.5cm to make it so much easier to draw and cut. Choose what kind of' brooch you'll use.

Then you must draw your pattern on the material you will use.
In my case, I used leather.

It's time to cut. Use special scissors for fabric, so it will be much easier.
You're almost done!

Now you just have to fold it in half and tie the short strip around the bow. You'll get something like this result.

Finally you should stick your brooch and let cool the silicone. It's now ready to use!

¡Me encantaría ver cómo quedaron tus creaciones!

Remember you can send me photos of your result on my Facebook. I'd love to see your creations!

Curl Wigs Tutorial

About two years ago, I published this tutorial here, but removed it because I thought I would leave the blog. Lately I have been asked for this, but the truth is that I erased the pictures I had. Luckily remembered for a strange video-tutorial I uploaded on youtube, and there I found the photos, the trouble is I do not remember the username/password for that account and I cannot answer the comments, so I better return to post here, hope this will help you.

Pues bien, para comenzar necesitarás:
  • Cepillo de madera
  • Crema para peinar
  • Rizador con ajuste de calor
  • Pinzas para sujetar cabello
  • Hoja de papel común y corriente
  • Cinta adhesiva
  • Peluca (obvio)
Well, you need:
  • Wooden brush
  • Styling cream
  • Curler with heat setting
  • Hair clips
  • Paper sheet
  • Scotch tape
  • Wig (obvious)

As you can see, it's a pretty simple curling.

It's important to verify that it has heat setting.

Now, you should carefully cover with paper and glue tape ONLY IN THE EXTENDING PART (which does not heat directly). Do not attach it below or you could ruin your wig.

It's time to start ...

1) First of all, you should brush your wig with care. It may be the entire wig or only the part where you will start to work.

2) Separate a bunch vertically, that is, from top to bottom.

3) Once you've separated the bunch, lay aside their excess to not hinder you. As you can see, I had already begun prior to the tutorial.

4) I recommend you to grip with pliers what is left, leaving only the lock you are going to work. So it will be much easier.

5) Next, you must divide the lock into three parts: high, medium and low. This will serve to have nice shaped curls. Now you should warm the curling at full power.

6) At this point, you can start using the styling cream in the strands you just did (you must do it one by one). The cream works best when not so fresh, so you can take your time.

Now if it's time to curl!

7) First, you must switch to low the power of the curling iron and wait 5 seconds approx. This is to prevent burn your wig, but at the same time to prevent the curling iron will not remain without heat. Once you waited, you must begin to curl the wig from the base to the top, and go slowly rolling until the end.

8) To make the curls to stay perfect, you must wait for 30-60 sec. (remember, not all the curling irons have the same heat, I recommend making a first test with less waiting time) I suggest you do not overdo the 90seg wait or you may burn your wig's hair.

To release the loop, you simply push it out. Please do not open the clamp or you could lose your progress, it is better to push-out the locks.

9) Here's how it should be your curls at the end. The styling cream serves to prevent frizz. I recommend you not stretch the curls as I did in the picture, or they may lose shape.

To curl the next bunch, you have to reheat the curling at full power for 20 sec, then down to the lowest heat, and wait 5 seconds before putting the new lock.

This is the final result. You can leave the curls as they are, or you can open them a little with the help of your fingers so they have more volume.

As you can see, it is a method a little slow, but worth 100%. The results are too cute.

Thanks for reading !!
